This is Maggie's ancient, mostly dead (but still slightly alive!) blog. Peruse the archives at your own risk; they contain more than a little teenage nonsense.
That would make you an Auntiece, not a Auntphew. Only when you are you tecniqually just an Aunt!
I neant to say only when you are both are you tecniqually an aunt. I lost my train of thought..too many person talk to and interupted me!
You mean you're siblings interrupt you???? Shocking. I've never heard of anything so terrible!
Yeah. Stuff like "it's time to chop vegtables" "what are you doing" and "Where did you get that" Stuff like that.
M, interesting concept. What happen if someone has ton and tons of one (nephews or nieces) both only one of the other? (btw, it's supposed to be "technically"... that spelling looks neat though)Siblings interrupting?!? My little brothers value their heads too much to do that.
If you have tons of one or the other you are still a Auntiece or a Auntphew or a Uncleice or a Unclephew. If you have both neices and nephews then you are an Uncle and an aunt. The reason why most people speak of aunts and uncles is that they have both neices and nephews. When they don't, most of the time persons either 1. Don't know what the case is or 2. Use the titles carelessly, the result of too much slang in our language.Yes I know how to spell!!! It sounds more my way than the proper spelling. You don't hear the "h" really. There are too many rules!!! That's why i hate Latin. Rules, rules, exceptions and rules. If it wasn't fur persons like u, who knows what would happen 2 our lang? I can see it in the newspapers.... My brothers have too much curiousity, which they get from me. I wonder about stuff like if they use the same guy in all the McDonald's commercials. I have 3 younger brothers, even if one of them knows only 7 words. You sound exactly like me about the "value thier head" thing. I asked my brother Thomas if he ever had a murkle [maricle] happen to him and he could think of one but i could: He hasn't been kilt yet! My maricle is I've not been driven insane by all thier noise. This is probably the longest comment you have ever seen. I even went back and condensed it!
P.s. How did I publish it twice? Ah, well, now you won't miss it! Also, if Maggie gets married and on her side of the family she is an Auntiece but on the other a Auntphew she just goes by aunt or one side of the family calls her by her relationship to that side of the family.
Eek!!!!!!!!! Speeling pelice!!! Run for the HiiiiiiiiiiilLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-)Anan
well, all these other people who r leavin' commets sound so much smarter than me (probably cuz they are)....but, n e wayz, I'm super happy for Naomi and Nick (and of course the rest of the family)!! I can hardly wait to watch that baby grow!! oh, and i love how creativly (spelling?) you write your blogs! Much better than me n e way...lolSo I'll ttyl, probably in another comment, cuz I'm almost positive I'll leave much more...Love, Melissa Kay
Unclephew! That's my new favorite word. Isn't Murkle what you named the leech?
Murkley or Murklee!
