Thank you, thank you, Vati.

Did you know we have not only Katharine Hepburn's signature, but also a signed copy of Fahrenheit 451?

  4. I don't know about the one from Katharine Hepburn, but the Fahrenheit 451 is signed specifically to Vati. So that would be weird.

Did you know Fahrenheit 451 was made into an opera? From what I gather, it wasn't very successful, but my dad played for it 21 years ago. That's when he met, talked with, and got an autograph from Ray Bradbury. (Also the two people who adapted it and the guys who played Montag and Beatty, but I don't really care about them.) I don't know how much they talked. I'll have to ask.

He never actually met Katharine Hepburn, but he has a friend who knew her pretty well.

  7. the first four comments on this post are in all caps....

There is a lot of fire in Fahrenheit 451 for it to be a play.

  9. I did know it was an opera; and it is SO COOL that your dad played for it. Wow. I am still stealing that stuff.

A friend of mine has a grandfather who went on a date with Katherine Hepburn, during WWII.

  10. I know. Vati is amazing.

Wow… that's incredible. Um, Amanda used to wait on Jim Davis all the time at The Olive Garden.
